Republic Social House has been listed for sale in Grant Park. The restaurant, at 437-C Memorial Dr. SE, has a price tag of $495,000, according to the listing which is held by The Shumacher Group.

In 2021, gross sales for Republic Social House were $1,520,138.98 resulting in a net profit of $242,086.67, according to the listing.

The fully-equipped 2,800 square-foot restaurant has a separate 2,400 square-foot rooftop patio with a full bar and a new owner could keep the Republic Social House brand in place, or “convert to any concept.” Rent for the space is $9,700 per month, “all in.”

Republic Social House has been a Grant Park mainstay for nearly 12 years. Owner Terry Barbu opened the restaurant in mid-2010. “I never would have considered doing this place, if I couldn’t have put a rooftop deck on it,” Barbu told the Atlanta-Journal Constitution at the time. “I really thought that synergy needed to be here.”

Republic Social House, which bills itself as being “for the people, by the people,” serves sandwiches, burgers, and a large selection of beers and liquors.
