Tarrant County is getting a fresh helping of Southern comfort. Waffle House, a chain that offers breakfast favorites at any time of any day, has filed papers to open a new location in Haslet.

The incredibly popular restaurant will be getting a from the ground-up, newly constructed home at 1295 North Saginaw Boulevard. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that the new storefront will afford Waffle House 1,840 square feet of space for serving up its beloved cuisine.

Locals will have plenty of time to build up an appetite for the new storefront; the TDLR form shows that work is not set to begin on the space until April 1 of 2027 and should wrap by September 30 of that same year.

Founded in Georgia in 1955, Waffle House has earned an ardent and passionate fan-following. The chain has around 2,035 locations spread across the United States.

  • She should do more location research. The location is in Saginaw, not Haslet! I was all excited when I saw Haslet, but discovered it really isn’t!

    • Good evening, Brenda! The documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation list the location as being in Haslet. I’ve reached out for further clarification, and if it’s an error in the paperwork I will gladly update the article. Thank you!
