Austinites prepare to have “that feeling in your body” when Justin Timberlake‘s Twelve Thirty Club comes to the downtown area. According to MySA, the ex-NSYNC member is bringing a taste of Nashville to the streets of Austin with the opening of The Twelve Thirty Club at 210 W. Sixth St.
While Timberlake may be the face and deeply affiliated with The Twelve Thirty Club, Sam Fox of Fox Restaurant Concepts developed the Nashville Twelve Thirty Club before bringing the smooth crooner on board. What Now Austin reached out to Fox and the President and COO at Fox Restaurants, Russell Owens, for comment, but did not hear back by the time of publication.
While it’s too soon to say when the new downtown music venue and eatery is expected to open (and yes, you can “cry me a river” about it because I am tearing up, too), what we can say is that this new entertainment and dining option is expected to emulate the Grammy-winning now solo singer’s Nashville venue. The Twelve Thirty Club is expected to be a three-story restaurant with live music, specialty cocktails, and scrumptious delicacies.
According to its website, “the inspiration for The Twelve Thirty Club is rooted in the supper clubs of the 19th century, when the closing time for pubs and restaurants was 12:30 am. These supper clubs were able to stay open later than other restaurants and bars because they were deemed private establishments, becoming dynamic, multi-cultural destinations for music, entertainment, and mirth.”
The Twelve Thirty Club has a menu for each area: the supper club, the rooftop terrace, and the Honky Tonky, with each serving up a brunch menu alongside a table service and main menu. Customers can enjoy items like a variety of breads, seafood and sushi bar, salads, steaks, and more. Entrees include a maple-glazed short rib, lobster spaghetti, and Scottish salmon, just to name a few. The extensive menu goes on to offer a plethora of desserts, apps, and sides. The cocktail menu offers everything from bubbles to beer, wine, and specialty cocktails.
The details make it hard to believe anyone will want to say “bye bye bye” once this venue opens. You can POP yourself into The Twelve Thirty Club when it opens doors in downtown Austin at 210 W. Sixth St.
