A family-owned West African restaurant is set to bring bold flavors to Northeast Philadelphia.
Lynup Cafe and Lounge is set to open at 7803 Frankford Avenue.
The menu will showcase authentic flavors, highlighting meat and fish dishes. Standouts include attiéké with tender lamb and cassava couscous made from the starchy root vegetable cassava, crispy snapper, fried plantains and grilled beef or lamb.
They will also serve soups and stews, including goat meat pepper soup, cassava leaves with rice, and egusi, a dish made from melons, squash and gourds, served with pounded yam.
