When Karishma Lakhani launched Kontour Medical Spa in Duluth two years ago, the goal was clear: to bring a luxury medical spa experience to the suburbs of Atlanta. Now, she is hoping to expand her reach to Johns Creek with a new lease at Toro Development Company’s Medley development.
“Our motto has always been bringing luxury to the suburbs,” Lakhani told What Now Atlanta. “We saw the residents of Johns Creek frequently traveled to Alpharetta and Buckhead for elevated aesthetic and wellness services. We wanted to bring that same high-end, concierge-level care directly to their backyard.”
The 1,500-square-foot space at Medley, slated to open at the end of October, will offer services including advanced injectables, regenerative treatments designed to boost collagen and elastin production, skin rejuvenation services, medical-grade skincare and wellness offerings such as peptide therapy. It will be more elevated in design than the Duluth location.
Lakhani built the brand around a multi-faceted definition of luxury.
“Luxury to us is not just having access to that elevated care, but also safety, customization, personalization, patient education and results that look natural,” Lakhani said.
As they expand, Lakhani’s emphasis is on maintaining her team’s high quality standards. She is excited for Kontour to grow with the Johns Creek community and to make luxury aesthetic medicine accessible to the community there.
“Medley itself is such a standout community. It’s not just a retail development. The community there and the team we’ve been working with always say it’s a third place and a destination outside of home and work where people gather, connect and celebrate life’s special moments,” Lakhani said. “Kontour is also a space centered around lifestyle and luxury and an elevated experience. We really didn’t just want square footage at the Medley — we wanted to be part of the vision and redefine how Johns Creek gathers and invests in self-care.”
In addition to Kontour Medical Spa, Medley recently announced other tenants including Trader Joe’s, Northern China Eatery, Shake Shack and Moop’s Boutique.
