Philadelphia-based Bagels & Co. is expanding its Florida presence.
The company, led by COO Kevin Armantrout, just filed permit applications with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to open a shop at 957 E Cypress Creek Road, with the Bagels & Co. website confirming the news, adding “coming soon”. An opening date has not been announced.
The company broke into the Florida market a few years ago, opening its first local Bagels & Co. in Wilton Manors. Currently, there are five Bagels & Co. locations throughout Florida, with additional shops slated for Tampa, Hollywood, and Pompano Beach. The company is expanding rapidly with plans to open several more locations, including shops at Drexel University in September of this year, and Philadelphia’s Penn Street in 2027, along with six other locations in 2026.
Bagels & Co. offers freshly-baked bagels in both classic and specialty varieties. Customers can snag everything from plain and sesame bagels to rainbow and French toast flavors. Bagels can be enhanced with homemade schmears in a range of flavors that include bacon cheddar, black truffle, birthday cake, and honey nut. Bagels can also be made into sandwiches for both breakfast and lunch. Pair your bagel with coffees, teas, soft drinks, or matcha.
