Cocoa Beach is getting a new hotspot for refreshment when Magic Smoothies opens.

Magic Smoothies, LLC filed permit applications with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to open a smoothie shop at 4285 N. Atlantic Avenue, next door to owner Ron Abeles’ other concepts, Poke Fin and Rock the Guac.

The restaurant is looking at an April 2026 opening, and the location is a prime spot in Cocoa Beach, just off the causeway, and steps to both the Florida Surf Museum and Ron Jon Surf Shop. The new Magic Smoothie location is close to the beach, the famous Cocoa Beach pier, and other attractions.

Abeles tells What Now Orlando that Magic Smoothies will offer smoothies loaded with fruit, nut milks, and other healthful ingredients rather than ones that are watered down with ice. “I want to bring healthy smoothies to Cocoa Beach,” he says. The shop will also sell customizable “build your own” acai bowls, cold pressed juices, detox beverages, and more.

The name Magic Smoothies reflects the whimsical decor in the small shop, which features floor-to-ceiling hand-painted murals of various animals and mythical beasts enjoying smoothies in a lush forest. A counter, painted with fruit, is topped with wood imported from Costa Rican rainforests. “I love designing the space and creating the buildout. It’s going to be amazing,” says the restaurateur.  I saw smoothies as blasting not a trend.  counters from wood from Costa Rica.

When Magic Smoothies opens, beachgoers will have a trio of healthful options to choose from, with families able to order poke bowls from Poke Fin, burritos and guacamole from Rock the Guac, and juices and smoothies from the newest member of the family.
