A Brazilian steakhouse is coming to Desert Ridge Marketplace at 21001 N. Tatum Boulevard in Phoenix.

Terra Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse has been listed as “coming soon” on the shopping and dining destination’s website, though an opening date has not been announced.

Terra Gaucha first opened in Jacksonville, Florida, in 2015, by Paulo Simonetti, Alex Potrich, and Rodolfo Melo with the goal of bringing an authentic Southern Brazilian churrasco experience to the United States.

Churrasco dining is an interactive experience where gaucho chefs come to diners’ tables with grilled meats on skewers. Guests are offered their choice of steak, lamb, pork, sausage, chicken, and more, making a dinner an exploratory adventure in culinary choices.

Diners traditionally can have as much food as they want, flipping a tableside disc when they are full. At Terra Gaucha, diners are also treated to sides, a gourmet hot and cold table, and other delights.

The restaurant also offers private group dining and memberships in its Terra Club that come with perks and discounts for frequent diners.

Currently, there are six Terra Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouses throughout the U.S., with locations in Jacksonville, Tampa, Stamford (CT), Indianapolis, Omaha, and Rockville (MD). When it opens, this will be the first Arizona location.
